LynxByte Games PSA: agentic workflow automation for repetitive porting work
LynxByte Games PSA, a game porting studio, got an agentic workflow system that automated the repeatable parts of the process and lifted gross margin significantly.
Game porting is a good example of work that looks custom from the outside but is actually highly repeatable once you map it properly. LynxByte Games PSA ports games between platforms - work that follows the same shape project after project, but that traditionally still consumes senior engineering time on every single step.
We mapped LynxByte's full porting workflow - the same Blueprint discipline we apply everywhere - and found that most of the process was mechanical, not judgment-dependent. From there we built an agentic system that runs the repeatable steps directly, freeing engineers to spend their time only on the parts of each port that actually need a human decision.
The system moves repeatable work out of the engineering queue so the team can focus on the parts of each port that require judgment. Gross margin reached roughly 80%, and engineering time per port fell by 60%.
